The Final Tribulation and the flood of Noah's Day are both identified with a year. The flood began in Noah's 600th year and ended in his 601st year in the 1st month:
Genesis 7:6 And Noah was six hundred years old when the flood of waters was upon the earth. Genesis 8:13 And it came to pass in the six hundredth and first year, in the first month, the first day of the month, the waters were dried up from off the earth: and Noah removed the covering of the ark, and looked, and, behold, the face of the ground was dry.
The Final Tribulation period is identified with a year.
Revelation 9:15 And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men.
The beginning of the flood during Noah's Day did not typify a destruction of the universe: In 2Peter 3:6 the Greek word "kosmos" translated "World" means the inhabitants or people perished because of the floods. The perishing of the inhabitants or people is not synonymous with the destruction of heavens (earth and solar system) as the wicked people (2Peter 2:17) are reserved for destruction prior to the destruction of Heavens (earth and solar system), 2Peter 3-12.
2Peter 3:6 Whereby the world [2889 kosmos] that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:
2Peter 3:12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens [ ouranos] being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
In Genesis 6:17, we see clearly the flood waters that were upon the earth during Noah's Day did destroy all flesh, but the flood did not destroy the heavens [ouranos -earth and solar system, 2Peter 3:10. ] as the earth standing [sunistao-existed, 2Peter 3:5 ] before and after the flood..
Genesis 6:17 And, behold, I, even I, do bring a flood of waters upon the earth, to destroy all flesh, wherein is the breath of life, from under heaven; and every thing that is in the earth shall die.
The Wicked are Reserved for Destruction prior to the Destruction of the Earth and heavens, 2Peter 2:17:
2Peter 2:13 And shall receive the reward of unrighteousness, as they that count it pleasure to riot in the day time. Spots they are and blemishes, sporting themselves with their own deceivings while they feast with you; 2Peter 2:14 Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children: 2Peter 2:15 Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness; 2Peter 2:16 But was rebuked for his iniquity: the dumb ass speaking with man’s voice forbad the madness of the prophet. 2Peter 2:17 These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest; to whom the mist of darkness is reserved for ever.
The heavens consist (existed) during the flood and before the flood. Thus, the beginning of a spiritual flood is not synonymous with the destruction of the heavens (earth and solar system).
2Peter 3:5 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens [ouranos] were of old, and the earth standing [4921 sunistao] out of the water and in the water:
In addition, the end of the physical flesh at the end of the heavens [ouranos] in 2Peter 3:12 cannot be associated with a period of beginning Flood, because the beginning of the flood was associated with the end of all flesh during the Days of Noah. God states clearly in Genesis 9:15 that the end of this world (physical flesh) will not be the way of Flood, because the Flood during Noah's Day destroyed all physical flesh during the beginning (or Initial 40 days) of the Flood.
Genesis 6:17 And, behold, I, even I, do bring a flood of waters upon the earth, to destroy all flesh, wherein is the breath of life, from under heaven; and every thing that is in the earth shall die Genesis 9:15 And I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh.
However, we must remember when Satan comes as an enemy he (Satan) comes as a flood, also:
Isaiah 59:19 So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.
Yet, God rules over the enemy (Satan or the Flood):
Psalms 29:10 The LORD sitteth upon the flood; yea, the LORD sitteth King for ever.
The enemy that comes during the Final Tribulation is Satan (the Flood):
Revelation 13:6 And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven. Revelation 13:7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.
God in his coming at the end of the heavens and earth is to destroy the Flood. The Sea in Revelation 21:1 is synonymous with the flood as Babylon is a picture of the enemy that comes as a flood in Jeremiah 47:2. The sea is also contrasted with the flood in Job 14:11.
Revelation 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. Jeremiah 51:36 Therefore thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will plead thy cause, and take vengeance for thee; and I will dry up [ 2717. charab] her sea, and make her springs dry. Jeremiah 47:2 Thus saith the LORD; Behold, waters rise up out of the north, and shall be an overflowing flood, and shall overflow the land, and all that is therein; the city, and them that dwell therein: then the men shall cry, and all the inhabitants of the land shall howl. Job 14:11 As the waters fail from the sea, and the flood decayeth and drieth up:
The removal of those from the field in Matthew 24:40-42 is not the end of the earth and heavens [ouranos], the concept of God removing workers from his field is due to their unfaithfulness (rebellion) as steward of his word. Christ coming near the end of the world is in 2 parts. The 1st part is to remove the candlesticks from the physical organized churches or local congregations associated with the Christ Secret Coming during the 2nd or 3rd Watch (1993 AD - 2000 AD).
Matthew 24:38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, Matthew 24:39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Matthew 24:40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Matthew 24:41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Matthew 24:42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. Matthew 24:43 But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.
Those who knew not and who were taken away by the flood of Noah are those under the judgment of God in Matthew 24:39.
2Peter 2:15 Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness; 2Peter 2:16 But was rebuked for his iniquity: the dumb ass speaking with man’s voice forbad the madness of the prophet. 2Peter 2:17 These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest; to whom the mist of darkness is reserved for ever. Psalms 90:5 Thou carriest them away as with a flood; they are as a sleep: in the morning they are like grass which groweth up
Those taken unaware are in effect removed from harvest field essentially are equivalent to those in the physical churches who have their candlestick taken away (no longer able to bring in the final harvest), if removed from the harvest field.
Revelation 2:5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.
Causation for removal of God's Field unfaithful stewardship : Luke 12:42 And the Lord said, Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his lord shall make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of meat in due season? Matthew 21:40 When the lord therefore of the vineyard cometh, what will he do unto those husbandmen? Matthew 21:41 They say unto him, He will miserably destroy those wicked men, and will let out his vineyard unto other husbandmen, which shall render him the fruits in their seasons. Revelation 2:18 And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine brass; Revelation 2:19 I know thy works, and charity, and service, and faith, and thy patience, and thy works; and the last to be more than the first. Revelation 2:20 Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols. Revelation 2:21 And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not. Revelation 2:22 Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds.
The days of Noah are identified with the coming of Christ: (note the coming of Christ involves 2 parts):
Matthew 24:37 But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
Luke 12:38 And if he shall come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those servants. Revelation 2:5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.
The Flood of Noah's Day typified a preparing of marriage to Christ for the true believer The Greek word translated as "preparing" is kataskeuazo. The word kataskeuazo is a derived from the Greek words kata and skeuos. The word kata means to intensify the effect here it is the preparation of the marriage of the true believers to Christ. The word skeuos means the making ready specifically of a wife for a husband. The testing of the Final Tribulation (Spiritual Flood) for the true believers is too more excellently prepare them for their marriage with Christ.
1Peter 3:20 Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing [2680.kataskeuazo Greek Strongs], wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water[5204 hudor Greek Strongs] Revelation 19:7 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.
An important factor as to how we determine what date the flood ended is on how we understand the meanings of the water dried up in Genesis 8:13. The same Hebrew word "charab" translated dry up (end of the Flood Satan's Kingdom -typified by Babylon end of its 70th week/ end of flood /destruction of Babylon in 539 BC) is used as it was in Genesis 8:13.
Genesis 8:13 And it came to pass in the six hundredth and first year, in the first month, the first day of the month, the waters were dried up [ 2717. charab] from off the earth: and Noah removed the covering of the ark, and looked, and, behold, the face of the ground was dry. Jeremiah 51:36 Therefore thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will plead thy cause, and take vengeance for thee; and I will dry up [ 2717. charab] her sea, and make her springs dry
End of World (Babylon destroyed October 539 BC, 2,550 years latter Spiritual Babylon a Flood Destroyed in October 2012: 2,550 has factors of 50 (Complete Harvest Cycle) X 17 (Heaven) X 3 (Purposes): In addition, the number 50 is identified with the completion of priestly work in the tabernacle of the congregation and 50 can be identified with complete (10) and judgment/salvation (5). The bible spiritually typifies true believers as fruit: Good Figs identified with (Jehoiachin) and the other captives such as Ezekiel in 597BC into Babylon. The Destruction of Judah by Spiritual Flood (Babylon) occurred in 587 BC. The result being productive harvest (Summer to Ingathering) only occurring in Babylon for harvest years 587/586 BC (12th Year Ezekiel's Captivity) to 539 BC.
Jeremiah 24:1 The LORD shewed me, and, behold, two baskets of figs were set before the temple of the LORD, after that Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon had carried away captive Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah, and the princes of Judah, with the carpenters and smiths, from Jerusalem, and had brought them to Babylon. Jeremiah 24:2 One basket had very good figs, even like the figs that are first [bikkuwrah 1063] ripe: and the other basket had very naughty figs, which could not be eaten, they were so bad.
Olives Tree- During Flood of Noah's Day-Return of Harvest during the last 88 days of the Flood (3 months):
Psalms 52:8 But I am like a green olive tree in the house of God: I trust in the mercy of God for ever and ever. Genesis 8:11 And the dove came in to him in the evening; and, lo, in her mouth was an olive leaf pluckt off [2965 taraph]: so Noah knew that the waters were abated from off the earth.
Jacob's Last 19 years -Identified with Great Tribulation in Chanaan. Jacob's Last 12 years return of Productive Harvest in Egypt.
Isaiah 27:6 He shall cause them that come of Jacob to take root: Israel shall blossom and bud, and fill the face of the world with fruit.
In Agriculture year September /October Fall to September /October Fall is the only year that spiritually typifies the end of harvest year.
Exodus 23:16 And the feast of harvest, the firstfruits of thy labours, which thou hasts ownin the field: and the feast of ingathering, which is in the end of the year, when thou hast gathered in thy labours out of the field. Leviticus 23:34 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, The fifteenth day of this seventh month shall be the feast of tabernacles for seven days unto the LORD
*NOTE: The 7th month Tishri is the 1st month in an agriculture year (Exodus 23:16) but the seventh month in a religious year (Exodus 12:2) , since the first month in a religious year began in the Passover month of Nisan
Exodus 12:1 And the LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying, Exodus 12:2 This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you. Exodus 12:3 Speak ye unto all the congregation of Israel, saying, In the tenth day of this month they shall take to them every man a lamb, according to the house of their fathers, a lamb for an house: Exodus 12:4 And if the household be too little for the lamb, let him and his neighbour next unto his house take it according to the number of the souls; every man according to his eating shall make your count for the lamb.
The beginning of the flood typified the start of a new agriculture year and the end of the flood typified the end of an agriculture year. The planting and harvesting season for crops is designed by God's clockwork. Olives from the latter rain ripen the same time of year (July or Tammuz) every year and are harvested the same time of year every year (Fall). The autumn or fall season always starts in September/October or the Jewish month Tishri. The variation between lunar and solar year days in a year could vary up to 21 days, but the day within a three-year period following a leap year always equal the same number of days (regardless of a lunar or solar calendar). The lunar calendar (requires) and added month to keep aligned with the seasons (which are solar). Notes Relating to Olive Harvest
**Tidbit (Interesting) - The fact that the early rains are associated-with the beginning rains during the Flood of Noah's day gives further credence that the flood of Noah day was associated with a Fall to Fall year.. The Rain from the Heavens were stopped completely at the end of 150 days (Genesis 8:2) in the 6 month equivalent to our March (Month of Latter rain) as the receding of the flood (type of latter rain/ living-water hinder sea, ,Zechariah 14:8) served as water to produce the fall olive harvest, |
