Book of Amos

1. The season of summer for the church ends in the winter (Adar), the month of no latter rain.

Amos 3:15 And I will smite the winter house with the summer house; and the houses of ivory shall perish, and the great houses shall have an end, saith the LORD.

Ivory is identified with the saving gospel. The message presented by the believer is a spiritual picture of merchandising, see Revelation 18: 10-23. Amos 3:15 states the houses of "Ivory" or the places where the message of salvation is given (the physical organized churches) used to present salvation through the preaching (merchandising) shall perish. This can only refer to the end of physical organized churches as institutions for bringing the saving gospel, the true believers cannot perish, but the physical organized churches as organizations can perish. The physical organization church ages ends in summer. Summer is the season that follows Pentecost . The Feast of Pentecost is specifically identified with the harvest associated with the church age (see James 1:18, below). Summer is also the period of no rain under the Six Agricultural Periods for Palestine.

James 1:18 Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we [the church] should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures

firstfruits

2. The end of summer is the end of the Temple (physical organized churches in Adar 1994) + 2 years of no Rain [no Latter Rain Harvest] (Silence)

Amos 8:1 Thus hath the Lord GOD shewed unto me: and behold a basket of summer fruit.

Amos 8:2 And he said, Amos, what seest thou? And I said, A basket of summer fruit. Then said the LORD unto me, The end is come upon my people of Israel; I will not again pass by them any more.

Amos 8:3 And the songs of the temple shall be howlings in that day, saith the Lord GOD: there shall be many dead bodies in every place; they shall cast them forth with silence.

(a) New Testament Temple destroyed after 46 years as an institution for bringing the Saving Gospel

(b) True believers cast out of the churches (dead Bodies)- Amos 8:3,

(c) 2 years of no rain silence - Amos 8:3,

In Amos 3:15 the winter house is killed (smite) by the physical organized church (summer house). The summer house or physical organized church does not receive its winter rain from Adar 1994 to Adar 1996. Thus, a latter rain harvest (winter house) is not possible for the physical organized church (summer house). The killing of the winter house by the summer house also parallels the driving out of the true believers from the physical organized churches during the Final Tribulations, who are parabolically killed during the Final Tribulation, see John 16:2 below.

John 16:2 They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service.

Book of Zechariah

The division of the two major harvests Pentecost and Feast of Ingathering occurs between spiritual seasons of both summer and winter, see Zechariah 14:8 below. Pentecost is identified with Early Rain and the physical church age ends in the spiritual summer during the season of winter (Adar). The latter rain start in late winter and end in spring, if they are not received a fall harvest (Feast of Ingathering) is not possible , as these lattter rain swell the wheat harvest. The Feast of Ingathering (tabernacles.) is identified with the latter rain(which start in winter and end in spring.) .The season of summer identified by Jesus as the final four months of harvest activity.

Zechariah 14:8 And it shall be in that day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them toward the former sea, and half of them toward the hinder [acharown], sea: in summer and in winter shall it be.

314. acharown, akh-ar-oneŽ; or (shortened); acharon, akh-ar-oneŽ; from 309; hinder; generally, late or last; specifically (as facing the east) western:—after (-ward), to come, following, hind(-er, -ermost, -most), last, latter, rearward, ut(ter)most.
