Aaron, the first priest dies on Av 1 in the 40th year that the Children of Israel were in the Wilderness, Numbers 33:8.  The beginning of the Flood of Noah's Day was in the 1st Month - (1) Tishri (Early Rain/Flood), (2) no abatement of water Genesis 8:3 (Adar) for latter rain harvest had occured and (3) the earth became dry in the 2 month (Cheshvan), 1 year later Genesis 8:14 . Water typified as the Saving Gospel was Noah's saving, 1Peter 3:20. Latter Rain/Harvest is needed to complete the Spiritual Season of Harvest, James 5:7. The beginning of the Flood of Noah's Day in 4990 BC did not typify the complete Spiritual Season of Harvest.
