• Scarcity of Bread is caused by the surrounding enemies of the city Jerusalem in 588/87 BC (similar to 1987 AD) which results in acute famine before "Abomination that Maketh Desolate" in 587 BC (similar to 1994 AD).

Luke 21:20 And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.

• Bread was present but in scarce supply when the Babylonians surrounded Jerusalem, but did not exist at all after Tammuz 9: Note, this date is after Pentecost (Pentecost 1994 which is on Sivan 6 is the last possible Harvest Feast associated with the physical Church Age). Tammuz is associated with the harvesting of summer figs (first ripe figs -attributable to early rain), so this could be associated with 1994 (the total end of early rain fruit in the physical organized churches and the absence of latter rain).

2Kings 25:3 And on the ninth day of the fourth month the famine prevailed in the city, and there was no bread for the people of the land

• Famine occurred before the Temple in Jerusalem was destroyed Temple was destroyed in Jerusalem Av 7 (5 month), 587 BC.

2Kings 25:8 And in the fifth month, on the seventh day of the month, which is the nineteenth year of king Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, came Nebuzaradan, captain of the guard, a servant of the king of Babylon, unto Jerusalem:

2Kings 25:9 And he burnt the house of the LORD, and the king’s house, and all the houses of Jerusalem, and every great man’s house burnt he with fire.

• Just as there was no bread (saving gospel) in Summer (absence of latter rain harvest) in the Famine relating to the Siege of Jerusalem 588 BC - 587 BC. There is an absence of latter rain and Christ physically removes himself from the Temple (The Physical Organized Churches in 1994 "Abomination that Maketh Desolate"). Christ comes and removes candlesticks from the physical churches while believers are sleeping- see secret coming of Christ where he comes in the 2nd or 3rd watch.

The famine associated with Elijah's Day, and the surrounding events related to the wickedness of Ahab and his adulteress marriage to Jezebel 860 BC - 857 BC parallels the beginning of famine associated with Great Tribulation or "Abomination that Maketh Desolate" in 1994. Satan is in complete control and believers receiving no bread (spiritual substance) from the physical organized churches.

• Absence of rain:

1Kings 17:1 And Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the inhabitants of Gilead, said unto Ahab, As the LORD God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word

• Lasted for 3 and 1/2 years:

James 5:17 Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months.

• Immediate scarcity of bread typified by poor widow woman:

1Kings 17:7 And it came to pass after a while, that the brook dried up, because there had been no rain in the land.

1Kings 17:8 And the word of the LORD came unto him, saying,

1Kings 17:9 Arise, get thee to Zarephath, which belongeth to Zidon, and dwell there: behold, I have commanded a widow woman there to sustain thee.

1Kings 17:10 So he arose and went to Zarephath. And when he came to the gate of the city, behold, the widow woman was there gathering of sticks: and he called to her, and said, Fetch me, I pray thee, a little water in a vessel, that I may drink.

1Kings 17:11 And as she was going to fetch it, he called to her, and said, Bring me, I pray thee, a morsel of bread in thine hand.

1Kings 17:12 And she said, As the LORD thy God liveth, I have not a cake, but an handful of meal in a barrel, and a little oil in a cruse: and, behold, I am gathering two sticks, that I may go in and dress it for me and my son, that we may eat it, and die.

• Bread supplied directly by God outside Israel in barrel never went dry:

1Kings 17:13 And Elijah said unto her, Fear not; go and do as thou hast said: but make me thereof a little cake first, and bring it unto me, and after make for thee and for thy son.

1Kings 17:14 For thus saith the LORD God of Israel, The barrel of meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail, until the day that the LORD sendeth rain upon the earth.

1Kings 17:15 And she went and did according to the saying of Elijah: and she, and he, and her house, did eat many days.

• The wicked Ahab as King and his marriage to Jezebel as Queen typified the complete control of Satan similar to that when Satan gains complete control of the physical organized churches typified as the "Great Tribulation" period.

1Kings 16:30 And Ahab the son of Omri did evil in the sight of the LORD above all that were before him.

1Kings 16:31 And it came to pass, as if it had been a light thing for him to walk in the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, that he took to wife Jezebel the daughter of Ethbaal king of the Zidonians, and went and served Baal, and worshipped him.

Revelation 2:20 Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.

Revelation 2:21 And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not.

Revelation 2:22 Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds.

The factors of 2,853 are: 18 X 317

860 + 1,993 (1994 AD) = 2,853 years

If we add 18 years (factor of 2,853) to 1994, we get 2012 AD.

• The beginning of the famine of Jacob's day is identified as "Great Tribulation "because bread is being obtained outside Chanaan (physical abode of the true believers) even before Jacob physically leaves for Egypt.

Acts 7:11 Now there came a dearth over all the land of Egypt and Chanaan, and great affliction [: and our fathers found no sustenance.

The Greek word "thilpsis" also found in Matthew 24:21 is translated to our English word tribulation (great tribulation).

Acts 7:12 But when Jacob heard that there was corn in Egypt, he sent out our fathers first.

Acts 7:13 And at the second time Joseph was made known to his brethren; and Joseph’s kindred was made known unto Pharaoh

1879 + 1993 (1994 AD) = 3,872.

The factors of 3,872 are: 88 X 4 X 11

• 88 is identified with 3 months to Harvest (Amos 4:7 ) were God indicates the division of the early and latter rain harvest.
• The famine of Jacob's Day lasted for 19 years, for Channon, since Jacob and his family were not there to work the land, after the second year of the famine.
• The Bible declares in Matthew 24:21-22 that except the days were shorten at the time of the "Great Tribulation" there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.

Matthew 24:21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

• The Bible also equates the ending of the famine of Elijah Day (3 and 1/2 years) which lasting exactly half the time of Jacob's Famine of 7 years as the coming of the Final Latter Rain Harvest (1997).

• 1997 to 2012 is 15 years of the Latter Rain Harvest resulting from (4 years figs trees that receive latter rain starting in 1997 to 2001) and (11 years fig trees receive latter rain and in a Good Land. 2001 -2012).

Before examining the Famine Chart below it might help to reflect on where the food source (Saving Gospel) came in each of physical habitats where the believers dwelt: Chanaan, Physical Jerusalem. Israel and the Physical Organized Churches.

Under the 7th month Siege of Jerusalem, 588-587BC bread still initially came from Jerusalem although it was scarce. The Temple had not been destroyed yet (Abomination that Maketh Desolate) which parallels the famine associated with the beginning of the scarcity of bread (saving gospel). The famine relating to Siege Jerusalem is the Start of Tribulation (meaning desolation is near (Luke 21:20) in 1987 but not "Great Tribulation" were Food (saving gospel) is totally absent from Jerusalem. We see that the beginning of the Tribulation is typified as a war, the result of this war is desolation for the physical organized since we know the time of desolation (defeat) is 1994, we can safely extrapolate that 7 month/years siege of Jerusalem (which also seemingly present a time path from 1987 - 2012) spiritual could represent the seven-year period from the time enemies (Satan) compass the camp of the Saints to his total control in 1994 (desolation).

Revelation 13:7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.

Revelation 13:8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

In the famine of Elijah's Day the believers food source as typified by the poor widow comes directly from God totally apart from Israel. The wickedness of Ahab and his marriage to Jezebel typifies abomination of desolation meaning that Satan is in control of the habitat meaning Great Tribulation and Desolation. This period also seemingly present a time path from 1994 - 2012.

The Bible in Acts 7:11 defines this famine of Jacob Day itself as "Great Tribulation" when land did not produce any substance. As a side note, the seven years of plenty also appears to have been scarcity for Jacob in Channon, because when the famine came there was no storehouses of grain to sustain Jacob as there were in Egypt, click button for the last 26 Years of Jacob's Life: .

Jacob leaves Chanaan after 2 years of the Famine in 1877 (Chanaan in effect also becomes an Abomination that Maketh Desolate) under the complete control of Satan, similar to 1994, when the Holy Spirit (Christ, 2Thessalonians 2:7 ) is no longer there. Thus, the abomination of desolation can only occur: 1) when the temple is destroyed, 2) Satan is in full control of the habitat, 3) Christ leaves the Temple and the believers receive no bread (blessing of the word).

Great Tribulation occurs with the absence of Bread being supplied from the believers habitats, but desolation as in the case Jacob a picture of Christ remained there 2 years (1879 -1877) although Jacob received his bread from Egypt.

The term Great Tribulation is also likened with the actual destruction of Jerusalem and would have occurred spiritually in 1994 for the physical organized churches (typified as Jerusalem on Earth).

Nehemiah 1:3 And they said unto me, The remnant that are left of the captivity there in the province are in great affliction and reproach: the wall of Jerusalem also is broken down, and the gates thereof are burned with fire.

Tidbit – 1

The first part of the 23 years by in Daniel 8:12-14 (relating from the Death of Josiah 609 BC to Deportation of 586 BC is not a picture of end of the world (destruction came only to Judah), but the 46 years 586 -539 BC (Completion of the 70th week 609 BC -539BC ) was. Babylon destruction by Medes and Persian typified Judgment that would not only come to Jerusalem ,but to the entire world:

The 2nd Temple which was completed in 46 years which typified the 1st and 2nd Return of Christ. There was a 46 year period for the end of the physical church age (Pentecost Temple) which was completed and destroyed after 46 years from God warning in 1948 (1948 -1994 is 46 years). 46 years typified the completion of the Final Harvest from the day after the feast of Unleavened Bread to Feast of Ingathering of Fruits. 34 AD to 2012, a period (1,978 years or 46 X 43). In addition, we must somehow Biblically reconcile the 2 to 1 geometrical progression established by God in Revelation 18:6 for the length or spiritual time from the beginning to the end judgment on Spiritual Babylon, since we know that Physical Babylon was 46 years. Thus, our end time period must have a factor of 92.

Revelation 18:6 Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double.

The Greek word "ergon" for work can be associated with a "length of time" in 1Peter 1:17.

1Peter 1:17 And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man’s work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear:

Tidbit – 2

Based on previous examples of Final Tribulation (Which includes Great Tribulation) the total time of the Final Tribulation must be in some form of a multiple 23 (23 X 2, 23 x 4 or 23 X 23, 23 X 23 X 23, etc.) in either days or years. The Gregorian 23 Solar Calendar year period of 1988 to 2011 does not reflect a multiple of 23 years, since it is only divisible by 1 nor does the total 8,400 days (365 *23 solar years + 5 days for leap years) and nor does the 8,400 days meet the clear progression of days specifically required by Revelation 18:6. The number 8,400 is interesting since it is multiples of 7 X 12 X 100 = 8,400 days; however for this number to be relevant for the return of Christ in 2011 you are looking at tribulation starting in Tishri 1988 and in Ending in Tishri 2011, and then somehow you must reconcile all the several other spiritual nuances for the end time.

Zechariah 14:18 And if the family of Egypt go not up, and come not, that have no rain; there shall be the plague, wherewith the LORD will smite the heathen that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.

Zechariah 14:19 This shall be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all nations that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.
