National Israel season of harvest is associated with the Passover (1st coming of Christ). Christ was the first of the first fruit from the tribe of Judah (National Israel). The first coming of Christ (fistfruits) is clearly associated with the Passover season.

1Corinthians 15:23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ’s at his coming.

Exodus 12:21 Then Moses called for all the elders of Israel, and said unto them, Draw out and take you a lamb according to your families, and kill the passover.

1Corinthians 5:7 Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:

The reemergence of National Israel typified as a fig tree in leaf was prophesied by Jesus that the end time summer (of no fruit) was nigh.

Matthew 24:32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:

Israel became a nation on Iyar 5, 1948 (5708). There are 40 days from Iyar 5 to Sivan 15. The latter half of Sivan is the beginning of Summer under the Six Agricultural Periods for Palestine. We see the fruitless fig tree as typified by National Israel season of bareness cursed (never again to bear fruit) by Jesus in Matthew 21:19

Matthew 21:19 And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And presently the fig tree withered away.

From a practical point, a fig tree that bears only leaves did not get enough water. Similarly, the physical organized churches in its season of summer does not get enough water (latter rain) to bring in the Final Harvest and thus suffer the same result of becoming a fruitless tree as Satan gains control of the physical organized churches throughout their season of Summer

.

2Peter 2:17 These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest; to whom the mist of darkness is reserved for ever

The beginning period of summer associated with the physical organized churches is associated with the Jewish year 5748 (1988). The last Passover season prior to the summer (without fruit for the physical organized churches) would be Nissan 15, 5747 (1987). God's completion of his four fold judgment is typified by a period of 9200 (23X 4 X 100) days. 9200 days from Nissan 15, 5747 (1987) is Sivan 30, 5772 (2012), which is equivalent to our June 20, 2012. June 20, 2012 is the Summer Solstice (the beginning of Summer) and the last three months of the world.

Nissan 15, 5747 (April 1987) + 9200 days =Sivan 30, 5772 (June 20, 2012)

June 20, 2012 is the Summer Solstice (Beginning of Summer ) and the FINAL FOUR MONTHS TO HARVEST IN TISHRI 2012.

warmest season of the year, between spring and autumn. In the Northern Hemisphere, it is usually defined as the period between the summer solstice (year's longest day), June 21 or 22, and the autumnal equinox (day and night equal in length), September 22 or 23; and in the Southern Hemisphere, as the period between December 22 or 23 and March 20 or 21. The temperature contrast between summer and the other seasons exists only in middle and high latitudes; temperatures in the equatorial regions generally vary little from month to month. For physical causes of the seasons, see season.

The concept of summer in European languages is associated with growth and maturity, especially that of cultivated plants, and indeed summer is the season of greatest plant growth in regions with sufficient summer rainfall. Festivals and rites have been used in many cultures to celebrate summer in recognition of its importance in food production.

A period of exceptionally hot weather, often with high humidity, during the summer is called a heat wave. Such an occurrence in the temperate regions of the Northern Hemisphere in the latter part of summer is sometimes called the dog days.
