The Flood lasted approximately a year. It started seven days after the first month (Tishri) 4990 and ended on the first month Tishri 1, 4989. We see that Noah was in his 600th year (7 days before the flood), since Noah was in his 601st year on the 1st day of the 1st month one year after the flood. Genesis 8:13 And it came to pass in the six hundredth and first year, in the first month, the first day of the month, the waters were dried up from off the earth: and Noah removed the covering of the ark, and looked, and, behold, the face of the ground was was dry.
See the Sealing of True Believers Study Ephesians 1:4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
When we examine sealing in terms of time instead of eternity, the sealing can take place prior to the completed redemptive work as Noah was pictured as being saved from the flood seven days before the flood but was not actually saved from the flood until a year later (the redemptive work completed in terms of time) Genesis 6:22 Thus did Noah; according to all that God commanded him, so did he. Genesis 7:1 And the LORD said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation. Genesis 7:2 Of every clean beast thou shalt take to thee by sevens, the male and his female: and of beasts that are not clean by two, the male and his female. Genesis 7:3 Of fowls also of the air by sevens, the male and the female; to keep seed alive upon the face of all the earth. Genesis 7:4 For yet seven days, and I will cause it to rain upon the earth forty days and forty.
Acts 27:21 But after long abstinence Paul stood forth in the midst of them, and said, Sirs, ye should have hearkened unto me, and not have loosed from Crete, and to have gained this harm and loss. Acts 27:22 And now I exhort you to be of good cheer: for there shall be no loss of any man’s life among you, but of the ship. Acts 27:23 For there stood by me this night the angel of God, whose I am, and whom I serve,
Revelation 7:1 And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree. Revelation 7:2 And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea, Revelation 7:3 Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads. |

Also, we see in Revelation 7:1-8 that the Pentecost Harvest does not represent the Final Harvest, but is associated with firstfruit. In Revelation 14:4, we see the twelve tribes typified as a type of firstfruit. The firstfruit (Pentecost) harvest does not require latter rain. The latter rain season (Shevat 15 to Nisan 15) ends with the beginning (Nisan 16) of the Pentecost harvest of seven weeks. Thus, the season of no latter rain [which can also be a period of 1987- 1994] typified as the beginning of summer (drought for the physical organized churches) occurs before the Final Pentecost Harvest of 1994 (49 days/ 7 weeks 1987- 1994).
Great Tribulation in Revelation 7:14 is a time when the land (spiritual habitat) does not produce any substance this period can only be identified after Pentecost 1994, when the physical organized churches do not have a productive summer harvest, since the Pentecost Harvest can occur without the latter rain, but the latter rain is needed for the summer harvest or it will fail: We see that in the 2 examples of Final Tribulation types that it was the 2nd part of each of the Final Tribulation types that are described as periods of Great Tribulation (Affliction) not the 1st part and this could ony occur when the land in total did not produce any substance or there was a total famine in the earthly land of the true believers. During the time of Jacob (dreath (drought- of no harvest) came 2 years before Jacob left Chanaan in 1879 BC) Acts 7:11 Now there came a dearth over all the land of Egypt and Chanaan, and great affliction [G2347 thlipsis]: and our fathers found no sustenance.
During the time of Babylonia Captivity (temple in Jerusalem destroyed and Jerusalem was in acute fam Nehemiah 1:3 And they said unto me, The remnant that are left of the captivity there in the province are in great affliction and reproach: the wall of Jerusalem also is broken down, and the gates thereof are burned with fire. |

side notes Simultaneous seasons are illustrated in Zechariah 14:8 where the season of summer exists spiritual during the time of autumn (early rain/sowing/harvesting) or winter (latter rain) during the time of the spiritual divisions between the early rain (former sea) and latter rain (hinder sea) harvests, also see the 2 seasons of spiritual summer and 3 months before the Final Harvest studies: Zechariah 14:8 And it shall be in that day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them toward the former sea, and half of them toward the hinder sea: in summer and in winter [2779 choreph] shall it be. |

An extrapolation of weeks from Pentecost 1987/88 (if this were the end of the Pentecost Harvest) to Ingathering for either the year 2011 or 2012 would not spiritually harmonize with the spiritual length of 18 weeks (weeks as years), but an extrapolation from Pentecost 1994 to 2012 would spiritually harmonize, as there are 18 years from Pentecost 1994 to The Feast of Ingathering in the year 2012. |
