Jacob's death in 1860 BC typified the end of Great Tribulation. There are exactly 3,871 years from 1860 BC to the year 2012 AD.

Acts 7:11 Now there came a dearth over all the land of Egypt and Chanaan, and great affliction: and our fathers found no sustenance.

Acts 7:12 But when Jacob heard that there was corn in Egypt, he sent out our fathers first.

The factors of 3,871 are 49 [sabbaticals (cessation) of harvest Leviticus 25:8] and 79. There were 79 years from the time that the 2nd Temple foundation was laid in 536 BC to 457 BC (Temple Worship reestablished). The year 457 BC or the 19th Jubilee Year, is a picture of Christ’s Return.

The numbers 7X7 or 49 are identified with the perfect completion/Sabbath (end of Harvest Activity).

Leviticus 25:4 But in the seventh year shall be a sabbath of rest unto the land, a sabbath for the LORD: thou shalt neither sow thy field, nor prune thy vineyard.

Leviticus 25:5 That which groweth of its own accord of thy harvest thou shalt not reap, neither gather the grapes of thy vine undressed: for it is a year of rest unto the land.

Leviticus 25:6 And the sabbath of the land shall be meat for you; for thee, and for thy servant, and for thy maid, and for thy hired servant, and for thy stranger that sojourneth with thee,

Leviticus 25:7 And for thy cattle, and for the beast that are in thy land, shall all the increase thereof be meat.

Leviticus 25:8 And thou shalt number seven sabbaths of years unto thee, seven times seven years; and the space of the seven sabbaths of years shall be unto thee forty and nine years.

The final cessation of harvest activity is the end of the World:

Matthew 13:38 The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;

Matthew 13:39 The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.

Matthew 13:40 As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.

Matthew 13:41 The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;

Matthew 13:42 And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

There are 79 years from the time when the 2nd Temple foundation was laid (forward the work of the house of the Lord) to 457 BC (reestablishment of Temple Worship and Jubilee cessation of harvest activity).

Babylon was conquered by Cyrus, the king of the Medes and Persians. Under Cyrus the first contingent of Jews returned to Jerusalem in 539 BC. Babylon was conquered in October 539 BC. The second year (539 BC + 2 years in a fall to fall Sept/Oct year) takes us to 537 BC. Then the second month Iyar (April - May) in the second year takes us to 536 BC, Ezra 3:8.

Ezra 3:8 Now in the second year of their coming unto the house of God at Jerusalem, in the second month, began Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Jeshua the son of Jozadak, and the remnant of their brethren the priests and the Levites, and all they that were come out of the captivity unto Jerusalem; and appointed the Levites, from twenty years old and upward, to set forward the work of the house of the LORD.

  • Note : The laying of the foundation of the first temple (Solomon's) which typified the harvest attributable to firstfruit or early rain also was started in the second month (Iyar or Zif).

1Kings 6:1 And it came to pass in the four hundred and eightieth year after the children of Israel were come out of the land of Egypt, in the fourth year of Solomon’s reign over Israel, in the month Zif, which is the second month, that he began to build the house of the LORD

Other tidbits relating to the number 79 (years) and its relationship to the completion of summer (Sivan 16) to the Feast of Ingathering (Tishri 15)

  • 7 + 9 = 16
  • There are 16 weeks, 4 months or 118 days (Sivan 16 to Tishri 15 from Summer to Ingathering - 29.5 days [a lunar month] x 4 = 118 days)
  • There is relationship of Summer to Ingathering (between 587BC to 539 BC) 48 years (3 x 16).
  • There is a Summer to Ingathering relationship between 587/586 BC* and 1996 AD 2,581 years (29 x 89) 29 + 89 = 118
  • There are 16 years from 1996 to 2012.
  • The second temple was completed in 20 years. The foundation was laid in 536 BC, but no work was done on the 2nd Temple after its initial foundation laying for 16 years. The second temple during the prophesy of Haggai was completed in 4 years (520 BC - 516 BC). There is a Summer to Ingathering relationship between the completion phase of the 2nd Temple of 4 years/4months.

John 4:35 Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.

*The carrying away of Jeconiah (other name used for this King was Jehoiachin) and the other captives such as Ezekiel in 597BC into Babylon typified harvest first ripe or Pentecost Harvest attributable to Early Rain.Summer Harvest begins 10 days (as 10 years) from Pentecost :

Ezekiel 33:21 And it came to pass in the twelfth year of our captivity, in the tenth month, in the fifth day of the month, that one that had escaped out of Jerusalem came unto me, saying, The city is smitten

Additional Study being Developed:

The physical 2nd Temple was completed in 516 BC in the 6th year of Darius- Ezra 6:15, which was 20 years from 536 BC (the year the 2nd Temple foundation was laid). There are 2,527 years from 516 BC to the year 2012 AD. The number 2,527 has factors of 7 (Pentecost Harvest ends) and 19 x 19 (19 years signified the length of time in which the spiritual latter rain harvest was concluded outside Canaan during Jacob’s Day).

2nd Temple (Ezra Reconstitute the temple sacrifice)

We have ancient sources, including Greek historians and Ptolmey's Canon of eclipses, which point to 465 BC as the year of Xerxes death. Artaxerxes then became king, but, according to custom, the first year of a king was the first full calendar year. Years began in the spring for the Persians but in the fall for the Jews. The 5th month and 7th Year, by Jewish reckoning, under a fall to fall year would also take us well into 457 B.C,

Ezra 7:7 And there went up some of the children of Israel, and of the priests, and the Levites, and the singers, and the porters, and the Nethinims, unto Jerusalem, in the seventh year of Artaxerxes the king.

Ezra 7:8 And he came to Jerusalem in the fifth month, which was in the seventh year of the king.

Ezra 7:9 For upon the first day of the first month began he to go up from Babylon, and on the first day of the fifth month came he to Jerusalem, according to the good hand of his God upon him.

Ezra 7:10 For Ezra had prepared his heart to seek the law of the LORD, and to do it, and to teach in Israel statutes and judgments.

Ezra 7:11 Now this is the copy of the letter that the king Artaxerxes gave unto Ezra the priest, the scribe, even a scribe of the words of the commandments of the LORD, and of his statutes to Israel.

Ezra 7:12 Artaxerxes, king of kings, unto Ezra the priest, a scribe of the law of the God of heaven, perfect peace, and at such a time.

Ezra 7:13 I make a decree, that all they of the people of Israel, and of his priests and Levites, in my realm, which are minded of their own freewill to go up to Jerusalem, go with thee.

The 19th Jubile and the year 457 BC

Exodus 1447/1446 (Exodus) + 40 years =1407/1406 (entered Canaan - the start of the fiftieth year count). The jubiles occurred every fiftieth year. The year 457/456 BC equals 950 year from 1407/1406 BC, which is a total of 19 jubiles. The 19th jubile signified the completion of the latter rain harvest. 19 years signified the length of time in which the spiritual latter rain harvest was concluded outside Canaan during Jacob’s Day.

Leviticus 25:11 A jubile shall that fiftieth year be unto you: ye shall not sow, neither reap that which groweth of itself in it, nor gather the grapes in it of thy vine undressed.

Acts 7:12 But when Jacob heard that there was corn in Egypt, he sent out our fathers first.

*If 1879 BC was the beginning year of failed harvest , then the first failed harvest season of rain in Chanaan was 1880 BC during  the time of Jacob, since the Bible links the rain season (1st 6 months of a harvest year) with its harvest season (2nd 6 months of a harvest year).

James 5:7 Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain.

19 years is the total time of possible Great Tribulation in our day as this was the total length of Great Tribulation in Jacob's Day (1879 -19 = 1860 BC). There are 3,872 years (88 [3 months to Harvest/God decides whether to rain or not to rain on the city] x 11 [last hour] x 4 [complete end]) from 1879 BC to 1993/1994 AD, The 1993 (planting/plowing/ rain season) + 19 = 2012. The year 1993 /1994 is the 13,005th (11,013 + 1992) year of the earth's existence (153 X 17 X 5), completion of the Pentecost Harvest (early rain/firstfruit) and the year that begins famine in our local congregations.

John 21:11 Simon Peter went up, and drew the net to land full of great fishes, an hundred and fifty and three: and for all there were so many, yet was not the net broken.
