2012 the Final Season of Harvest

By Jock Ellis

18 Years is identified as the length of the Final Great Tribulation period for the Believer.

The spiritual picture of being cast into prison involves the separation of the True Believers from the organized church. In the following example we see Paul and Peter and the other Apostles while cast in prison unable to teach or even see those that were in the physical organized churches:

Event

Verse

Peter and Apostle Cast into Prison

Acts 5:25 Then came one and told them, saying, Behold, the men whom ye put in prison are standing in the temple, and teaching the people.

Paul cast into Prison

Acts 28:20 For this cause therefore have I called for you, to see you, and to speak with you: because that for the hope of Israel I am bound with this chain.

We also see in Revelation 2:10 the Greek word "deka" spiritually could mean eighteen years.

Revelation 2:8 And unto the angel of the church in Smyrna write; These things saith the first and the last, which was dead, and is alive;

Revelation 2:9 I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.

Revelation 2:10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten <1176 deka>days <2250 hemera>: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life

1176. deka dek´-ah; a primary number; ten:—(eight-)een, ten.

The Greek numbers 13-19 are formed by preceding the last digit by deka. The numbers eleven and twelve in the (Greek Numbers 1-19 Table) are the only exceptions.

Luke 13:4

eighteen G1176 deka G2532 kai G3638 oktos

2250. hemera, hay-mer´-ah; feminine (with 5610 implied) of a derivative of hemai (to sit; akin to the base of 1476) meaning tame, i.e. gentle; day, i.e. (literally) the time space between dawn and dark, or the whole 24 hours (but several days were usually reckoned by the Jews as inclusive of the parts of both extremes); figuratively, a period (always defined more or less clearly by the context):—age, + always, (midday (by day, (-ly)), + for ever, judgment, (day) time, while, years.

Luke 13:1-12 presents a panoramic view of the 18-year period that follows the death of the physical organized Church “End of physical organized churches as a mechanism for bringing thed saving gospel.

Christ exhorts to repentance from the case of the Galilaeans and 18 killed in at Tower of Siloam. (1-5)

Luke 13:1 There were present at that season some that told him of the Galilaeans, whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices.

Luke 13:2 And Jesus answering said unto them, Suppose ye that these Galilaeans were sinners above all the Galilaeans, because they suffered such things?

Luke 13:3 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.

The Galilaeans were judged while supposedly doing acts that on the surface appeared to be pleasing to God “the ceremonial sacrifice,” but judgment comes upon the Galilaeans. Similarly, those who perform the service in the physical organized during the Final Tribulation period appear to be doing the Work of God, but in the end judgment come upon them.

Luke 13:4 Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, think ye that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem?

Luke 13:5 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.

Historically, the 18 killed at the Tower of Siloam were building for Pilate a waterworks and aqueduct system for the City” Jerusalem”. The Aqueduct's main purpose was to artificially channel water, by conveying it in large supplies throughout the city. In similar fashion, the physical organized church, which attempts to carry the water or the Gospel in the City or physical Organized Churches during the last 18 years of the world existence, also comes into judgment

The 18 killed at the Tower of Siloam in Luke 13 parallel those 42 men slain in the pit in 2 Kings 10:14 . These men were followers of Ahaziah who attempted to give homage to Jehu “Pictured as GOD In Judgment", and were judged after 12 years starting from the reign of Ahaziah. The Bible describes the period of 42 months as the time that Satan has reign over the organized churches. Also we see in the verse Luke 13:4 that Judgment comes upon those who appear not to be the most sinful just as those who are found in the physical organized churches.

Revelation 13:5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.

Revelation 13:6 And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.

Revelation 13:7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.

Ahaziah (Israel): (854-853 BC) Ahaziah was the son of Ahab (1 Kings 22:40) who reigned in Israel for 2 years (1 Kings 22:51). He did evil in the sight of God, walking in the way of his father Ahab and his mother Jezebel. He served Baal and worshipped him, which provoked God's anger (1 Kings 22:51-53). Ahaziah, who constantly clashed with Elijah, fell down through a lattice in his upper chamber and subsequently died (2 Kings 1:2,15-18).

Jehu: (841-814 BC) Jehu, anointed by a prophet (2 Kings 9:1-3), put an end to the ongoing evil in Israel. He killed Ahaziah (Kingdom of Judah 2Kings 9:27) and Jehoram (Joram) as well as Jezebel (2Kings 9:30 -34) and then exterminated Ahab's family and followers and 42 of Ahaziah's family. He struck down Baal worship by killing Baal's followers and destroying their temple.

2 Year Reign inclusive 854 BC - 853 BC

Ahaziah fall through a lattice and is severely injured.  Ahaziah seeks council from Satan rather than God as to rather he would live or die, Ahaziah dies as a result

Church falls away from truth. Physical organized church dies under the reign of Satan  (Church has 2 years of no latter Rain. Two is a number associated with Church, Two witness in Book of Revelation; Jesus sent Apostles tin groups of twos.

Length of Final Tribulation is described in Revelation 2:10 as a period of 10 days.  The 10-day are equivalent to the 18 years after death (End of Rain) of the physical organized church.

42 followers of Ahaziah (King of Judah)

2Kings 10:13 Jehu met with the brethren of Ahaziah king of Judah, and said, Who are ye? And they answered, We are the brethren of Ahaziah; and we go down to salute the children of the king and the children of the queen.

Followers of organized church are judged cast into the bottomless pit after the end of 42 months after their attempts to pay homage to CHRIST.

Parable of the Fig Tree (6-9)

Luke 13:6 He spake also this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none.

Luke 13:7 Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground?

Luke 13:8 And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it:

Luke 13:9 And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down.

3 Years the Fig tree bears no fruit see also, Brief periods of “SPIRITUAL” Famine precede each of the 3 Harvests for the Souls of men by God.

The Fig Tree in its first instance represents physical National Israel. Christ during his ministry on earth preached for a period of about 3 years to the Fig Tree "National Israel" yet few if any were saved during this time. On a different spiritual level during the period of the End, we see that the fig tree is the physical organized churches which has their own season of drought (2 years of no latter rains) and as we see in Luke 13:7 the rains don't occur in the third year either for those inside the physical organized churches. The entire tribulation period is defined as year in Revelation 9:15 (identified with 24 years). Thus, the physical organized church bears no fruit during the entire Great Tribulation Period (identified with 18 years).

Revelation 9:15 And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men.

The fact being the church remains in existence during the entire time of tribulation but bears no fruit is similar to the Jewish Synagogues of Today, which remain in existence but bear no fruit.

Woman who suffer with spirit infirmity for 18 years ( 10-12)

Luke 13:10 And he was teaching in one of the synagogues on the Sabbath.

Luke 13:11 And, behold, there was a woman <1135. gunh/ gune> which had a spirit of infirmity<769 astheneia> eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself.

Luke 13:12 And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity. 1135. gunh/ gune, goo-nay´; probably from the base of 1096; a woman; specially, a wife:—wife, woman

769 astheneia, as-then´-i-ah; from 772; feebleness (of mind or body); by implication, malady; morally, frailty:—disease, infirmity, sickness, weakness.

The woman who is a saved “cured of her infirmity" represents the saved wife of Christ. The 18 years the woman had an infirmity (weakness or little strength) identifies with those who have come out the church “open door” who are not a part of the synagogue of Satan "the physical organized church" kept from the hour of temptation through Mercy of GOD, Revelation 3:6-9.

Revelation 3:6 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

Revelation 3:7 And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth;

Revelation 3:8 I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.

Revelation 3:9 Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.
