Beginning of Summer pathways Matthew 24:32:

(1) 1988/87 (picture as the start of Summer for the Church Age) and end of Summer for the Church Age (Adar) 1996

(2) latter rain harvest pathway stating from Adar 1996 (pictured as the beginning of Summer for the Latter Rain Harvest) to Feast of Ingathering (Tishri 2012)

A pathway emerges when we examine the meaning of the statement of Jesus in Matthew 24:32; "Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:" Under the Palestine Agriculture period of Harvest the beginning of Summer is Sivan 16. The fig tree in its first instance applies to National Israel. National Israel became a Nation on Iyar 5, 1948 (5708). Interestingly, we see there are exactly 40 days from Iyar 5 to Sivan 16 (the beginning of summer). When we use the these days as years, we arrive at the year 1987/1988 as the beginning of the season of summer for the church age [absense of latter rain summer, as a drought]. The season of summer for the church age ends after a period of two years of no latter rain [ harvest] (Adar). The total season of Summer under the Palestine Agriculture period is 59 days or 2 months.

Matthew 24:32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: ye know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand.

National Israel just like the physical organized church was the worker (tiller) of God's land for the Harvesting of Souls. In Matthew 21:19 from time of Christ on Earth to the end of this World National Israel bares only leaves no fruit. God's allowance for the reemergence of National Israel as a nation in 1948 however typifies the coming end of the work in God's land being done by the institution of the physical organized church.

Matthew 21:19 And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And presently the fig tree withered away.

We also see a relationship with the beginning of summer in connection with the Final Harvest, which Jesus refers to as a period of 4 months between Sivan 16 and Tishri 15 (The Feast of Ingathering or the Final Harvest). We know this harvest occurs outside of the physical organized church because the physical church has no latter rain (saving gospel) needed to produce this Final Harvest.

John 4:35 Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.

Note: The Total 59 days of Summer ÷ 7 = 8.428571years, which is equal to 2300 days of Daniel 8:14 plus 1 day and the 2 Years of no Latter Rain that follow the end of the Church Age in Adar (Winter) 1994.Note this is also consistent with Amos 3:15.

Amos 3:15 And I will smite the winter house with the summer house; and the houses of ivory shall perish, and the great houses shall have an end, saith the LORD.

The season of summer for the church ends in the winter (Adar), the month of no latter rain, but the winter house would also represent the latter rain believers who are driven out (killed) of the summerhouse (physical organized churches). - See study Winter and Summer.

Notes

*

The beginning of Summer for the Church Age is the absence of latter rain. Note; the church age could still experience a Pentecost Harvest in 1994, since this harvest is not dependent on latter rain, also see the 2 seasons of spiritual summer one productive (outside the physical organized churches) and one unproductive (inside the physical organized churches).

117 Days Explanation

The Feast of Ingathering is on Tishri 15 and occurs after the completion of the gathering corn ands the wine. Thus, we see the final harvest a period typified from the start of a new Summer (outside the physical organized church) to Tishri 14 (the last day for any possible remaining Harvest activity prior to the Feast of Ingathering)

Deuteronomy 16:13 Thou shalt observe the feast of tabernacles seven days, after that thou hast gathered in thy corn and thy wine:

There are a 117 days between the Start of Summer and Tishri 14. When the total days are divided by seven, the result is 16.71 (rounded) days (years).

4 months season completed outside of Physical Church (Sivan 16th to Tishri 14) is a 117 days

117 days divided by 7 days (week) = 16.71 (Jewish Years Rounded)
