2012 the Final Season of Harvest

Understanding the Early Rain and Latter Rain

As we have seen from John 4:14 Seasons of Rain [Early Rain and Latter Rain] are pictures of the Saving Gospel whereby men are saved. We also see the association of Early Rain and Latter Rain with each of the Seasons of Harvest from the charts below:

James 5:7 Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain.

Notes

(1)

The physical organized churches do not receive latter rain. Wheat is sown during the early rain, but needs the latter rain (Adar) for its summer harvest to continue and flourish.

The chart below associates the Jewish months with the associated Rain Season, the associated Harvest Season and the associated Harvest Feast days:

Understanding Joel 2:23

When we examine closely the original Hebrew Scripture we find that the following words in the KJV of Joel 2:23 can be translated as the following:

Joel 2:23 Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the LORD your God: for he hath given you the former rain moderately [righteous early rain], and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain [early rain], and the latter rain in the first month* [beginning with early righteous early rain].

*The word month is not part of the original Hebrew.
