2012 the Final Season of Harvest

By Jock Ellis

Christ refers to the harvesting cycle of the fig tree to signal that his coming is near in 1948 by allowing National Israel to become once again a Nation after nearly 1900 years of not being a nation (Destroyed by the Roman in AD 70) and over 2,500 years as a separate nation (Conquered 587 BC by Babylonians’ remained under the control of conquering empires Medes Persian, Greeks and Roman, until destroyed AD 70).

Mark 13:27 And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.

Mark 13:28 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When her branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is near:

Mark 13:29 So ye in like manner, when ye shall see these things come to pass, know that it is nigh, even at the doors.

Mark 13:30 Verily I say unto you, that this generation shall not pass, till all these things be done.

Mark 13:31 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.

The fig tree in its first instance is identified with National Israel.

Jeremiah 24:1 The LORD shewed me, and, behold, two baskets of figs were set before the temple of the LORD, after that Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon had carried away captive Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah, and the princes of Judah, with the carpenters and smiths, from Jerusalem, and had brought them to Babylon.

Jeremiah 24:2 One basket had very good figs, even like the figs that are first ripe: and the other basket had very naughty figs, which could not be eaten, they were so bad.

Jeremiah 24:3 Then said the LORD unto me, What seest thou, Jeremiah? And I said, Figs; the good figs, very good; and the evil, very evil, that cannot be eaten, they are so evil.

Jeremiah 24:4 Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

Jeremiah 24:5 Thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel; Like these good figs, so will I acknowledge them that are carried away captive of Judah, whom I have sent out of this place into the land of the Chaldeans for their good.

Jeremiah 24:6 For I will set mine eyes upon them for good, and I will bring them again to this land: and I will build them, and not pull them down; and I will plant them, and not pluck them up.

Jeremiah 24:7 And I will give them an heart to know me, that I am the LORD: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God: for they shall return unto me with their whole heart.

Jeremiah 24:8 And as the evil figs, which cannot be eaten, they are so evil; surely thus saith the LORD, So will I give Zedekiah the king of Judah, and his princes, and the residue of Jerusalem, that remain in this land, and them that dwell in the land of Egypt:

Jeremiah 24:9 And I will deliver them to be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth for their hurt, to be a reproach and a proverb, a taunt and a curse, in all places whither I shall drive them.

Jeremiah 24:10 And I will send the sword, the famine, and the pestilence, among them, till they be consumed from off the land that I gave unto them and to their fathers.

The fig tree normally produces a crop of figs in late June, and then again another crop comes along in early September. That first crop is produced on the branch grown the previous season. When Jesus makes the statement that it branch is tender and putteth forth leaves, we know that God is referring to National Israel since the major seasons of fruit harvests of figs for (Late Summer and Fall) occur outside National Israel. The early rain fruit Pentecost 1994 (10 days before start of summer "Latter Rain" in 1996) is the last harvest feast associated with the physical organized church. The Late Summer Harvest of Figs and the Final Fall Harvest of Figs occurs from believers who have left or will the physical organized churches during the Great Final Tribulation or those believers not a part of the physical organized churches. Also, we see the Fig Tree can only produce fruit after a season of bareness. National Israel in leaves represents that  season of  bareness from which the LORD Jesus came forth as the first of the "first fruit" (the Passover Season).

1Corinthians 15:20 But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the first fruits of them that slept.

Furthermore, we see JESUS cursed National Israel in Matthew 21 so that National Israel would never again bear fruit (only bears leaves), but National Israel reappearance as a Nation is a clear and dower warning that the Summer Harvest is near.

Matthew 21:18 Now in the morning as he returned into the city, he hungered.

Matthew 21:19 And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And presently the fig tree withered away.

Matthew 21:20 And when the disciples saw it, they marvelled, saying, How soon is the fig tree withered away!

1948 + 40 years =1987/88 (Jewish Year 5748 Start of the Summer Season)

In Mark 13:28, GOD indicates that the start of the Summer for the Church Age is (1987/88), which is a 40 years from the reappearance of National Israel as a "Nation.” The Unproductive Summer Harvest (Pentecost is the last productive harvest) is associated with the physical organized Church. From the link "Summer Harvest" we see that the length of summer harvesting was 8.428571 weeks under the Six Agricultural Periods for Palestine. The 8.428571 weeks under the Season of Harvest for the Return of Christ is actually 8.428571 years (consisting of the 2300 Day of Daniel 8:14 + 1 day and 2 Years of no Latter Rain). Since the physical organized churches does not have Latter Rain, they have no part in the Fall or Final Harvest.

A generation in the Bible that did Evil is defined as period of 40 years. This was seen in Israel dwelling in the wilderness for 40 years in which all the generation died that were under the age of twenty (Numbers 14:29), prior to National Israel entering into the Promise land A picture of entering Heaven).

A generation that had did Evil represented by 40 years:

Numbers 32:13 And the LORD’S anger was kindled against Israel, and he made them wander in the wilderness forty years, until all the generation, that had done evil in the sight of the LORD, was consumed.

There are Forty days from Iyar 5 (Israel became a nation) to Sivan 16 (Summer Starts).

Numbers 14:33 And your children shall wander in the wilderness forty years, and bear your whoredoms, until your carcasses be wasted in the wilderness.

Numbers 14:34 After the number of the days in which ye searched the land, even forty days, each day for a year, shall ye bear your iniquities, even forty years, and ye shall know my breach of promise.
