Ahab was the eighth king of Israel. His history is recorded in 1 Kings 16-22. His wife "Jezebel" exercised a very evil influence over him. To the calf-worship introduced by Jeroboam , Ahab added the worship of Baal. The church of Thyatira is typified as under the influence of Jezebel in Rev. 2:20, "thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols." Ahab death in 853 BC typified the judgment that befalls on the physical organized churches and rest of the unsaved world at the end of harvest, Matthew 13:39 . There are 2,864 year from 853 BC to 2012 AD. 2,864 has multiples of 16 [length of summer harvest to Ingathering] and 179 [length of Passover to Ingathering].

Ahab did evil above al that were before him. Ahab took Jezebel for his wife and establish the worship of Baal in Israel.

1Kings 16:30 And Ahab the son of Omri did evil in the sight of the LORD above all that were before him.

1Kings 16:31 And it came to pass, as if it had been a light thing for him to walk in the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, that he took to wife Jezebel the daughter of Ethbaal king of the Zidonians, and went and served Baal, and worshipped him.

1Kings 16:32 And he reared up an altar for Baal in the house of Baal, which he had built in Samaria.

1Kings 16:33 And Ahab made a grove; and Ahab did more to provoke the LORD God of Israel to anger than all the kings of Israel that were before him.

Jezebel stirred up the evil in Ahab:
 

1Kings 21:25 But there was none like unto Ahab, which did sell himself to work wickedness in the sight of the LORD, whom Jezebel his wife stirred up

God associates adultery with the worship of idols:

Ezekiel 23:37 That they have committed adultery, and blood is in their hands, and with their idols have they committed adultery, and have also caused their sons, whom they bare unto me, to pass for them through the fire, to devour them.

God associates the New Testament physical organized church with spiritual adultery (fornication) and idol worship, see examples of the many prevalent sins associated with the physical organized churches of our day:
 

James 4:4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

Church of Pergmos:

Revelation 2:14 But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication

Church of Thyatira:

Revelation 2:20 Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.

Clearly Ahab and Jezebel were a representative of the kingdom of Satan that ruled the the physical Kingdom of Israel. During the Great Tribulation of our "Day", Satan is given rulership of the physical organized churches just as Ahab and Jezebeel were given rulership of physical Israel.

Coming of Christ dependent on the end time rebellion of the physical organized churches, and Satan ruling in the churches " the Temple" and being worshipped there:

2Thessalonians 2:1 ¶ Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,

2Thessalonians 2:2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.

2Thessalonians 2:3 ¦ Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
2Thessalonians 2:4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
 

Church of Pergamos under the rulership of Satan, "Satan's Seat".

Revelation 2:12 ¦ And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write; These things saith he which hath the sharp sword with two edges;
Revelation 2:13 I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, even where Satan's seat is: and thou holdest fast my name, and hast not denied my faith, even in those days wherein Antipas was my faithful martyr, who was slain among you, where Satan dwelleth
 

Church of Thyatira under the teaching of Jezebel and its failure to repent is keyed the period of Great Tribulation in our Day.

Revelation 2:18 ¶ And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine brass;

Revelation 2:19 I know thy works, and charity, and service, and faith, and thy patience, and thy works; and the last to be more than the first.

Revelation 2:20 Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.

Revelation 2:21 And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not.

Revelation 2:22 Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds.

Revelation 2:23 And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works.

Revelation 2:24 But unto you I say, and unto the rest in Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine, and which have not known the depths of Satan, as they speak; I will put upon you none other burden.

Revelation 2:25 But that which ye have already hold fast till I come.

Revelation 2:26 And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:
Revelation 2:27 And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father.

Revelation 2:28 And I will give him the morning star.

Revelation 2:29 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
 

The death of Ahab, Jezebel, and their followers in 853 BC typified the judgment that befalls the Kingdom of Satan and its followers at the end of Harvest:

2Kings 9:3 Then take the box of oil, and pour it on his head, and say, Thus saith the LORD, I have anointed thee king over Israel. Then open the door, and flee, and tarry not.

2Kings 9:4 So the young man, even the young man the prophet, went to Ramothgilead.

2Kings 9:5 And when he came, behold, the captains of the host were sitting; and he said, I have an errand to thee, O captain. And Jehu said, Unto which of all us? And he said, To thee, O captain.

2Kings 9:6 And he arose, and went into the house; and he poured the oil on his head, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, I have anointed thee king over the people of the LORD, even over Israel.

2Kings 9:7 And thou shalt smite the house of Ahab thy master, that I may avenge the blood of my servants the prophets, and the blood of all the servants of the LORD, at the hand of Jezebel.

2Kings 9:8 For the whole house of Ahab shall perish: and I will cut off from Ahab him that pisseth against the wall, and him that is shut up and left in Israel:
2Kings 9:9 And I will make the house of Ahab like the house of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, and like the house of Baasha the son of Ahijah:

2Kings 9:10 And the dogs shall eat Jezebel in the portion of Jezreel, and there shall be none to bury her. And he opened the door, and fled.

Elijah’s prophecy (1 Kings 21:19) concerning Ahab's death:
 

1Kings 21:19 And thou shalt speak unto him, saying, Thus saith the LORD, Hast thou killed, and also taken possession? And thou shalt speak unto him, saying, Thus saith the LORD, In the place where dogs licked the blood of Naboth shall dogs lick thy blood, even thine.

1Kings 22:35 And the battle increased that day: and the king was stayed up in his chariot against the Syrians, and died at even: and the blood ran out of the wound into the midst of the chariot.

1Kings 22:36 And there went a proclamation throughout the host about the going down of the sun, saying, Every man to his city, and every man to his own country.

1Kings 22:37 So the king died, and was brought to Samaria; and they buried the king in Samaria.

1Kings 22:38 And one washed the chariot in the pool of Samaria; and the dogs licked up his blood; and they washed his armour; according unto the word of the LORD which he spake.

Jesus associates the final harvest with the fig harvest of 16 hours beginning with a 4 hour morning watch and the remaining 12 hours of day in which intervals of laborers are hired. The year 1996/1997 AD start of lunar summer harvest (Sivan 16) in 1997 is also aligned with the start of the astronomical summer or June 21, 1997 (the summer solstice). Based on astronomical reckoning summer begins on the day of the summer solstice and ends on the day of the autumn equinox

The Number 179 is identified with complete harvest a complete harvest cycle Passover to the Feast of Ingathering. The end of Harvest is the end of the world:

Christ the Passover identified with the beginning (Passover) and the end of world (end of Harvest-Ingathering)

John 13:1 ¶ Now before the feast of the passover, when Jesus knew that his hour was come that he should depart out of this world unto the Father, having loved his own which were in the world, he loved them unto the end.
