Genesis 28:5 And Isaac sent away Jacob: and he went to Padanaram unto Laban, son of Bethuel the Syrian, the brother of Rebekah, Jacob’s and Esau’s mother. Acts 7:11 Now there came a dearth over all the land of Egypt and Chanaan, and great affliction: and our fathers found no sustenance. Acts 7:12 But when Jacob heard that there was corn in Egypt, he sent out our fathers first. Acts 7:13 And at the second time Joseph was made known to his brethren; and Joseph’s kindred was made known unto Pharaoh. Acts 7:14 Then sent Joseph, and called his father Jacob to him, and all his kindred, threescore and fifteen souls. Acts 7:15 So Jacob went down into Egypt, and died, he, and our fathers, Jacob's physical dwellings places were located within the Earth's 30 ° -35° North latitudes.
In Genesis 47:9, the days of Jacob were identified as being few and evil, when he came became before Pharaoh. We see the Hebrew word "miat" is associated with the fewness of time; of degree. The beginning of a Jewish day is identified with sunset (night). Genesis 47:9 And Jacob said unto Pharaoh, The days of the years of my pilgrimage are an hundred and thirty years: few [4592 m'at, meh-at] and evil have the days of the years of my life been, and have not attained unto the days of the years of the life of my fathers in the days of their pilgrimage.
The true believers relationship with God is the same regardless if there is either spiritual night or day. Psalms 139:10 Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me. Psalms 139:11 If I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me; even the night shall be light about me. Psalms 139:12 Yea, the darkness hideth not from thee; but the night shineth as the day: the darkness and the light are both alike to thee. Psalms 139:13 For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother’s womb.
The sun, moon and star are all providers of light.
Psalms 148:3 Praise ye him, sun and moon: praise him, all ye stars of light Spiritual day or light however is required for the true believer to successfully bring the saving gospel to the unsaved world in terms of the earth's time.
John 9:4 I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work. John 9:5 As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world. 2Corinthians 4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. 2Corinthians 4:5 For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus’ sake. 2Corinthians 4:6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
If Jacob's days were the shortest during a time of spiritual night, this would mean that the night would have been the longest during a time spiritual nighttime. The longest night within Jacob's last 26 years of dwelling on the Earth within 30 ° -35° North latitudes was14 hours. There were 14 years (7 years of the Final harvest in Chanaan / 7 years of abundant harvest in Egypt) and (7 years of drought no harvest in Chanaan or Egypt). The spiritual end time division between the day and night during the Eurclodoyn Storm (End time Night Storm that destroys the physical organized churches) during Paul's trip to Rome is typified as occurring after the 14th Night.
Acts 27:27 But when the fourteenth night was come, as we were driven up and down in Adria, about midnight the shipmen deemed that they drew near to some country; Acts 27:28 And sounded, and found it twenty fathoms: and when they had gone a little further, they sounded again, and found it fifteen fathoms. Acts 27:29 Then fearing lest we should have fallen upon rocks, they cast four anchors out of the stern, and wished for the day. Acts 27:30 And as the shipmen were about to flee out of the ship, when they had let down the boat into the sea, under colour as though they would have cast anchors out of the foreship, Acts 27:31 Paul said to the centurion and to the soldiers, Except these abide in the ship, ye cannot be saved. Acts 27:32 Then the soldiers cut off the ropes of the boat, and let her fall off. Acts 27:33 And while the day was coming on, Paul besought them all to take meat, saying, This day is the fourteenth day that ye have tarried and continued fasting, having taken nothing.
The Final Harvest of Jacob's Day (Genesis 47:19 -25) occurred only in physical Egypt and lasted for 12 years coinciding with the death of Jacob in 1860 BC. The Final Harvest in our day is also associated with a 12 year period(Matthew 20:6-9).
Genesis 47:19 Wherefore shall we die before thine eyes, both we and our land? buy us and our land for bread, and we and our land will be servants unto Pharaoh: and give us seed, that we may live, and not die, that the land be not desolate. Genesis 47:20 And Joseph bought all the land of Egypt for Pharaoh; for the Egyptians sold every man his field, because the famine prevailed over them: so the land became Pharaoh’s. Genesis 47:21 And as for the people, he removed them to cities from one end of the borders of Egypt even to the other end thereof. Genesis 47:22 Only the land of the priests bought he not; for the priests had a portion assigned them of Pharaoh, and did eat their portion which Pharaoh gave them: wherefore they sold not their lands. Genesis 47:23 Then Joseph said unto the people, Behold, I have bought you this day and your land for Pharaoh: lo, here is seed for you, and ye shall sow the land. Genesis 47:24 And it shall come to pass in the increase, that ye shall give the fifth part unto Pharaoh, and four parts shall be your own, for seed of the field, and for your food, and for them of your households, and for food for your little ones. Genesis 47:25 And they said, Thou hast saved our lives: let us find grace in the sight of my lord, and we will be Pharaoh’s servants.
Matthew 20:6 And about the eleventh hour he went out, and found others standing idle, and saith unto them, Why stand ye here all the day idle? Matthew 20:7 They say unto him, Because no man hath hired us. He saith unto them, Go ye also into the vineyard; and whatsoever is right, that shall ye receive. Matthew 20:8 So when even was come, the lord of the vineyard saith unto his steward, Call the labourers, and give them their hire, beginning from the last unto the first. Matthew 20:9 And when they came that were hired about the eleventh hour, they received every man a penny. |
