Abstract from Proclamation of Independence Provisional Government of Israel

Placing our trust in the Almighty, we affix our signatures to this proclamation at this session of the provisional Council of State, on the soil of the Homeland, in the city of Tel-Aviv, on this Sabbath eve, the 5th day of Iyar, 5708 (14th May, 1948)

The factors of 23,517 days are 3, 117 and 67:

The number 3 is identified - with purpose or established by God:

Deuteronomy 19:15 One witness shall not rise up against a man for any iniquity, or for any sin, in any sin that he sinneth: at the mouth of two witnesses, or at the mouth of three witnesses, shall the matter be established.

The number 117 is identified with the beginning of summer to the feast of Ingathering:

  • Sivan 15+ (Sivan 16 Calendar beginning of Summer and 4 months to Harvest)
  • Tammuz 29+
  • Av 30+
  • Elul 29+
  • Tishri 14th = 117 days (Tishri 14th is the last Harvest Day, Tishri 15th or the 118th day is a Sabbath)

Israel (Judah) and the local congregations or physical organized churches are identified with receiving unproductive seasons of summer.

Jeremiah 8:20 The harvest is past, the summer is ended, and we are not saved.

The formation of National Israel (Summer is near, Matthew 24:32) on Iyar 5, 1948, was a warning of coming Judgment to come upon the physical organized churches (the dwelling place where true believers normally can be found). Physical Israel in leaf (fig tree) is specifically identified with a coming unproductive Summer.

Hosea 9:10 I found Israel like grapes in the wilderness; I saw your fathers as the firstripe in the fig tree at her first time: but they went to Baalpeor, and separated themselves unto that shame; and their abominations were according as they loved.

Note: Baalpeor idol worship

The formation of National Israel keys us to the coming of Christ "at the door" and coming of an unproductive summer which begins with the absence of latter rain in the physical organized churches.

See related link 1 (absence of rain) and related link 2 (productive summer outside the physical organized churches) for spiritual seasons of summer correlation:

Numbers 14:33 And your children shall wander in the wilderness forty years, and bear your whoredoms, until your carcasses be wasted in the wilderness.

Numbers 14:34 After the number of the days in which ye searched the land, even forty days, each day for a year, shall ye bear your iniquities, even forty years, and ye shall know my breach of promise.

1988 or the 13,000th (260 X 50) year of the earth existence is identified with Summer from the standpoint of an absence of the latter rain occurring in the physical organized churches. Summer can be identified with drought (absence of rain) as we seen in Psalms 32:4 .

Psalms 32:4 For day and night thy hand was heavy upon me: my moisture is turned into the drought of summer. Selah.

*Note:

  • 50 is identified with the harvest cycle.
  • 260 th Day Start of Summer -A new day in the Bible starts at sunset, technically the night before (Oct 7, 1987) would be the beginning of Tishri 15 (a new year) + 259 days = June 21 (same day after 6 p.m. counts as another day) + 1 = 260; we see this type of reckoning of time in Matthew 20:8. June 21, 1988 the summer solstice marks the first day of the season of summer.

Matthew 24:30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

Matthew 24:31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Matthew 24:32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:

Matthew 24:33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.

A tree that bears only leaves is a cursed and withers (rain withheld):

Mark 11:21 And Peter calling to remembrance saith unto him, Master, behold, the fig tree which thou cursedst is withered away.

Joel 1:12 The vine is dried up, and the fig tree languisheth; the pomegranate tree, the palm tree also, and the apple tree, even all the trees of the field, are withered: because joy is withered away from the sons of men.

God used the institutions Israel and the local congregations or the physical organized churches as mechanism for bring the saving Gospel (water bearers or wells, 2Peter 2:17 ). But, as we see in Romans 11:21-22 a warning that their stewardship was conditional as we see first national Israel cut off and then during our Day we see the local congregation or physical organized churches cut off.

Romans 11:21 For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee.

Romans 11:22 Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.

1Peter 4:17 For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?

2Corinthians 10:6 And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.

Israel was typified as having a period of no latter rain.

Jeremiah 3:3 Therefore the showers have been withholden, and there hath been no latter rain; and thou hadst a whore’s forehead, thou refusedst to be ashamed.

Without the latter rain there can be no summer to the Feast of Ingathering Harvest: The Summer to Feast of Ingathering Harvest is a unique season in that it requires both the early and latter rains.

Rebellious physical Jerusalem (local congregations or physical organized churches) do not keep the feast of Ingathering (tabernacles):

Rebellious physical Jerusalem is typified as Spiritual Egypt. Physical Jerusalem in our day could only be the local congregation or physical organized churches. The physical organized churches or local congregations are the only physical organization or city that supposedly claim to have a relationship to Christ.

Revelation 11:8 And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.

*Jesus Christ was physically crucified in Jerusalem

Zechariah 14:18 And if the family of Egypt go not up, and come not, that have no rain; there shall be the plague, wherewith the LORD will smite the heathen that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.

Although the word rain is italicized not in the original Hebrew Zechariah 14:18, the absence of rain (drought) is clearly identified with plague as we see in 1Kings 8:37 and Revelation 11:6.

1Kings 8:37 If there be in the land famine, if there be pestilence, blasting, mildew, locust, or if there be caterpiller; if their enemy besiege them in the land of their cities; whatsoever plague, whatsoever sickness there be;

Revelation 11:6 These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.

The physical organized churches prior to the coming of Christ in James 5:17 is preempted with the absence of latter rain also, which produces the summer to the Feast of Ingathering Harvest. James Chapter 5 is in the context of the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ

James 5:17 Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months.

James 5:18 And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit.

James 5:19 Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him;

James 5:20 Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins. .

* note: Rain is a picture of the saving gospel without it people will perish; rain is withheld when the people supposedly associated with God rebel as Israel and the physical organized churches did.

John 4:14 But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.

We see heaven shut when the people supposedly associated with God rebel an are unrepented

1Kings 17:1 And Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the inhabitants of Gilead, said unto Ahab, As the LORD God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word.

We see the coming of Christ is condition on the end time rebellion of the local church congregations since the only physical temples associated or claiming a relationship with Christ are the physical organized churches or the local congregations:

2Thessalonians 2:1 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,

2Thessalonians 2:2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.

2Thessalonians 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

2Thessalonians 2:4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

When there is no saving gospel (rain) salvation is not occurring there:

1Kings 8:35 When heaven is shut up, and there is no rain, because they have sinned against thee; if they pray toward this place, and confess thy name, and turn from their sin, when thou afflictest them:

We see the coming of the Lord or “Great Tribulation” is keyed to the unrepented physical organized churches. We see in the seven churches of Asia Minor in Revelation 2 & 3 characteristics that are representative of all churches. The church of Thyatira exemplifies characteristics of all churches, we see in Revelation 2:21-22 is the unrepented churches that marshals in the Great Tribulation:

Revelation 2:18 And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine brass;

Revelation 2:19 I know thy works, and charity, and service, and faith, and thy patience, and thy works; and the last to be more than the first.

Revelation 2:20 Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.

Revelation 2:21 And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not.

Revelation 2:22 Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds.

The number 67 is identified with judgment that befell on those who were in the land and in the midst of Jerusalem:

Jeremiah 52:25 He took also out of the city an eunuch, which had the charge of the men of war; and seven men of them that were near the king’s person, which were found in the city; and the principal scribe of the host, who mustered the people of the land; and threescore men of the people of the land, that were found in the midst of the city.

Jeremiah 52:26 So Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard took them, and brought them to the king of Babylon to Riblah.

Jeremiah 52:27 And the king of Babylon smote them, and put them to death in Riblah in the land of Hamath. Thus Judah was carried away captive out of his own land.

Judgment falls upon the inhabitants of physical Jerusalem (this can only be the physical organized Churches or local congregations). These are those who fail to obey the command by God to flee Judah in the Final Tribulation:

Luke 21:20 And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.

Luke 21:21 Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto.

Luke 21:22 For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.

Luke 21:23 But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people.

Luke 21:24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.

Luke 21:25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring

The number 67 is identified also with the Marriage of Jacob to Leah and Rachel (Marriage of True believers to Christ) at the End of the Great Tribulation period:

Ruth 4:11 And all the people that were in the gate, and the elders, said, We are witnesses. The LORD make the woman that is come into thine house like Rachel and like Leah, which two did build the house of Israel: and do thou worthily in Ephratah, and be famous in Bethlehem:

Revelation 21:2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
