The Secret Coming of Christ during the Final Tribulations occurs at time of spiritual nighttime. A time identified as the goodman (true believer) in Luke 12:39 not even comprehending this coming of Christ until HE (Christ) had come. Christ secret coming is to: 1) Remove the Candlesticks (physical organized churches no longer the bearers of the Saving Gospel, Revelation 2:5 and 2) remove the true believers from physical organized churches, John 2:19. Revelation 2:5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent. Matthew 24:1 And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple. Matthew 24:2 And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down. Matthew 24:3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
Jesus describes this coming occurring during the second and third watch. This would have been the years 1992-2000 (an 8 year period). Luke 12:38 And if he shall come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those servants. Luke 12:39 And this know, that if the goodman [3617 oikodespotes] of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched, and not have suffered his house [3624 oikos] to be broken through [1358 diorusso].

The Greek word "oikos" translated "house" in Luke 12:39 could be translated to our English word "temple". We see that in 1Peter 2:5 and 1Peter 4:17, these same Greek word "oikos" translated to our English word "house". The contextual use of the Greek word "oikos" in 1Peter 2:5 and 1Peter 4:17, makes it abundantly clear the house that Bible is referring to in Luke 12; 39 can only be the physical organized, churches, since the physical organized churches are the only house associated with Christ at the end of time that can be broken up or broken into (candlestick removed). The goodman (the householder) is the spiritual stones that made up a spiritual house they were group in the physical organized churches. If the physical house is broken up the true believers are no longer grouped in the physical organized churches. Thus, those that remain in the physical churches are those who give only evidence that they are not "saved". 1Peter 2:5 Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ. 1Peter 4:17 For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God? The goodman (true believers) at the coming of Christ during the 2nd and 3rd watch did not understand or perceive this coming by Christ. The Bible uses the same Greek word "oikodespotes" for goodman in Luke 12:39 as it does in Matthew 13:52 for the word householder. In Matthew 13:52 the householder or goodman that is instructed unto the kingdom is likened to the Goodman (Christ). Matthew 13:51 Jesus saith unto them, Have ye understood all these things? They say unto him, Yea, Lord. Matthew 13:52 Then said he unto them, Therefore every scribe which is instructed unto the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which bringeth forth out of his treasure things new and old. Thus, we see the true believers not understanding the timing of the 1st coming of Christ to remove the candlestick from all the physical organized churches and the spiritual destruction of The New Testament Temple until after the actual event happening in the 2nd and 3rd watch (1992 -2000), Luke 12:38. Luke 12:39 And this know, that if the goodman [3617 oikodespotes] of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched, and not have suffered his house [3624 oikos] to be broken through [1358 diorusso]. Note: a thief normally comes during the night to break up and take things, and no one knows when the thief has come until he has come. Christ parallels his 1st coming to remove the candlestick and destroy the temple even to the true believer (Goodman) as a thief coming. Thus, no true believers understood the 1st coming of Christ until the events actually associated with his 1st coming happened.
Since God uses the true believer to evangelize the world, and the true believers are scattered throughout the physical organized churches, God had to make the people there "the seed" aware that the candlestick had been removed and The New Testament Temple was spiritually destroyed so the final season of harvest could be completed. In 2001 (after the 2nd and 3rd Watch), God used the Family Radio ministry to reach a large public forum with the biblical message that the true believers were to depart out of the physical organized churches to complete God's Final Season of Harvest. |
