A review of the Flood of Noah's Day Bible Study

The end of the Flood of Noah's Day is the Completion of God's Final Judgment (literal year). The beginning of the Flood (4990 B.C.) parallels the beginning of the 11th hour (2011 A.D.) and the end of the Flood (4989 B.C.) parallels the end of the 11th hour (2012 A.D.). The completion of Latter Rain for the last 3 months of the Final Harvest is typified as a period of 88 days. There were eight souls on the Ark at the time of the Flood: Noah and his wife, his 3 children and his 3 children wives were the 8 souls present on the Ark. The number 8 multiplied by the 11th hour equals the product of 88. The beginning of the Final Tribulation period starting in 1988 (beginning of summer for the church age - [absence of Latter Rain - water as Judgment]) and the ending of the Final Tribulation in 2012 (Fall -Latter Rain Harvest) is a spiritual year. The spiritual year from 1988 AD to 2012 AD (literal 24-year period/years as hours/ 24 hours as a day/a day as a year) spiritually parallels the beginning of the Flood (4990 B.C.) in 1988 and the end of the Flood (4989 B.C.) in 2012 A.D.

1Peter 3:20 Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.

The Christian Journeys throughout the church age in Revelation 12:6 is described as a wilderness journey. We see when we add the age that the Bible uses when Jesus started his ministry (about 30 ^(a) Years) plus 1260 years; the sum equals 1290. Christ is identified with Passover. The final harvest associated with the physical organized Church is Pentecost. Thus, from Christ earthly ministry beginning (Passover) that is 30 years plus the 1260 years (Revelation 12:6, Pentecost) equals 1290 years. 1290 is specifically associated with Pentecost, abomination of desolation, and the first year of no latter rain[harvest].

(Revelation 12:6 And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.

The Final Great Tribulation is also identified with 1994. The beginning of the Final Tribulation typified as the beginning of Flood and is identified with the year 1988 in Revelation 12:15.

Revelation 12:13 And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child.

Revelation 12:14 And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.

Revelation 12:15 And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.

Revelation 12:16 And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth.

The Flood of Noah Day was a picture of God's Final Judgment. The year which Satan is loosed from the pit to began his assault and bring judgment upon the physical organized churches. Near the halfway point of the Flood of Noah Day (150th Day) the ocean floor was deepened to decrease the intensity of the flood for those on the Ark , see Gen. 8:2-3 .

Genesis 8:2 The fountains also of the deep and the windows of heaven were stopped, and the rain from heaven was restrained;

Genesis 8:3 And the waters returned from off the earth continually: and after the end of the hundred and fifty days the waters were abated.

Satan attempts to destroy the remnant seed during the Final Tribulation period by the flood is unsuccessful. In Revelation 12:16, we see similarly near the halfway point of the Tribulation Period God spiritually causes the Earth to open. Thus, the true believers are not carried away by the storm . The seed is the true believers found in the physical organized churches. As Satan wars against the true believer (seed) they are killed (driven out from the physical organized churches) where they bear fruit outside the physical churches during the latter rain.

Revelation 12:16 And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth.

Revelation 12:17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

Those that stay in the physical organized churches as well as the rest of the unsaved world are spiritually outside the Ark and thus, are carried away to destruction by the Flood. Water is present during a storm [a flood tempest] but it is destructive as oppose to rain water which is essential for life. The unsaved are pictured in 2Peter 2:17 as wells without water (the unsaved in the physical organized churches during the Final Tribulation do not receive latter rain) in a storm. Thus, the Tempest (Flood Waters) serves strictly as a judgment during the Final Tribulation.

2Peter 2:17 These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest; to whom the mist of darkness is reserved for ever.

Tempest \Tem"pest\, n. a season, weather, storm, akin to tempus time. See Temporal of time.] 1. An extensive current of wind, rushing with great velocity and violence, and commonly attended with rain, hail, or snow; a furious storm.

Also, we see that during the Great Final Tribulation the physical organized church in Revelation 9 :11 comes under the rule of Satan. This event is paralleled in Revelation 20:7 where we see the (2 billion or 1/3, see note after paragraph) the representatives of the physical organized churches under the rule of Satan in 1994 A.D. typified as Magog (the land of Gog /physical organized churches) and Gog (ruler of Magog/ Satan). Ezekiel 38 and 39 define Gog and Magog as a northward invading army. In Ezekiel 39:6 the Hebrew word "betach" denotes the appearance of safety on an island from the flood but the island comes under fire. This is similar to the physical organized churches that although give the appearance of safety still come under the judgment of God's Fire during the Final Tribulation Period.

Note: In the year 2001 the people in the world associated with the organized Christian Religion reaches the 2 billion mark and is 1/3 of the people's total religion in the world. The year 2001 is also the year that marks 11 years to the End of the Final Harvest (2012).

Ezekiel 39:6 And I will send a fire on Magog, and among them that dwell carelessly [betach 983 Hebrew Strongs] in the isles: and they shall know that I am the LORD.

Revelation 20:7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,

Revelation 20:8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.

Interestingly, when we look at the grouping of Nations in Genesis 10:2 the land of Magog is grouped with Tubal and Meshech. Tubal and Meshech are regions that geographically are associated with Asia Minor. Asia Minor is associated with the End Times spiritual location of all the churches which fall under the rule of Satan.

GOG AND MAGOG Names of a ruler, Gog, and his land, Magog, in the Bible. Gog is the leader, in Ezekiel 38 and 39, of an invading army from “the uttermost parts of the north” The word Magog, likely derived from an Akkadian term meaning “the land of Gyges (Gog),” occurs also in Gen 10:2 in the “Table of Nations.” In Genesis and Ezekiel, Magog is grouped with Meshech and Tubal, regions in Asia Minor. .

TUBAL (PERSON) [VI, 670] One of the seven sons of Japheth, Noah’s son, according to the Table of Nations (Gen 10:2) and the parallel genealogy in 1 Chr 1:5. Descendants of Tubal and his siblings (Gomer, Magog, Madai, Yavan, Meshech, and Tiras) are located to the N of Israel, in Greece, Asia Minor, and N Syria. It is logical, therefore, to expect to find Tubal in the same Northern area.

Additional evidence that Tubal, and Meshech refer geographically to Asia Minor can be found in Ezekiel 27:13. Ezekiel 27:13 references the production and trade of brass. Brass is made up of copper and zinc (with different types of brass adding other elements). To be people who traded vessels of brass they needed to have the natural metals available in their location of the countries.

Ezekiel 27:13 Javan, Tubal, and Meshech, they were thy merchants: they traded the persons of men and vessels of brass in thy market.

True iron working began in Asia Minor (now part of Turkey) between 1500 and 1000 B.C. and spread over much of Asia, Africa, and Europe. The great advantage of iron was its cheapness, because iron ore is abundant and widespread. In the Iron Age, carpenters and masons abandoned the crude tools of the Bronze Age. Craft workers could then afford metal tools, and made wide use of iron, including iron plows.

We see in Jermiah 47:2 the enemy that rises up out of the North [Magog] is equated with water that rise up and overflows the land [a Flood].

Jeremiah 47:2 Thus saith the LORD; Behold, waters rise up out of the north, and shall be an overflowing flood, and shall overflow the land, and all that is therein; the city, and them that dwell therein: then the men shall cry, and all the inhabitants of the land shall howl.

The end of the Flood is the end of the Tribulation period. We see that in the Flood of Noah's Day God's promise not to bring another Flood by water to destroy the Earth occurs at the end of the Flood not at the beginning. The End of the Flood is also a picture of the new earth where we see the curse of the flood is removed (land is no longer flooded and the earth is dry, Genesis 8:14 ).

Genesis 9:15 And I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh.

Genesis 8:13 And it came to pass in the six hundredth and first year, in the first month, the first day of the month, the waters were dried up from off the earth: and Noah removed the covering of the ark, and looked, and, behold, the face of the ground was dry.

Genesis 8:14 And in the second month, on the seven and twentieth day of the month, was the earth dried.

Similarly, the Promise of God occurs at the end of the Spiritual Flood of the Final Tribulation where a new heaven and earth are created and the curse of sin is removed no more sea (Greek word "thalassa") never again does the possibility exist for the saved to come under trial (A Flood) again.

Revelation 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea [thalassa Greek Strongs 2281]. .

The Flood of Noah's Day 4990 BC - 4989 BC - year as a 24 hour day (24 hour day as a 1 year) parallels the Final tribulation 24 Years (1988-2012). (24 hours day as 24 years)

The 8 true believers were protected during the Flood. The tribulation period is defined as a period of hour, day, a month and a year. From an earlier study we have learned that the only time period that reconciles with an hour, day, a month and a year spiritually is a 24 year period. The Flood of Noah Day was a period of a literal year.
